Where is Tadoba National Park?

Tadoba National Park is one of the largest and the oldest national parks amidst India which is located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. The Safaris

Tadoba National Park is located in the central part of India so the vegetation of this region is mostly dry and deciduous and it is perfect for Jeep Safaris. Generally, safari ride in Tadoba National Park starts at 6:00 am to 10 am in all the three zones of the Tadoba National Park. These zones are Moharli, Tadoba and Kolsa. The evening Safari ride starts from 3 pm. The time of the safari ride changes slightly with the time of sunrise. Though this is one of the finest tiger habitats of India but it is also a great place for bird lovers and the mammal’s lovers. Here you will find a complex network of birds and mammals. It’s a home to a great number of wild lives from bison, wolves, hyena, jackal deer and numbers of other wild animals. Though safari rides are famous for spotting Tigers but there are numbers of other wild animals which easily attract your attention. Some Important Information

Park Timing - The timing of Park in the morning starts from 6 AM with the morning safari ride and it ends at 6PM with the end of the evening safari ride.

Note - The Tadoba Tiger Reserve remains closed from July 1 to October 15. In monsoon season this national park remans closed for the tourists.

Nearest Railway Station - The nearest railway station is Chandrapur which is just 45 kms away from the Tadoba National Park. Onward Journey-Frequent buses are available in between Chandrapur and Tadoba National Park.
