How to Reach Tadoba National Park

Tadiba National Park is located in the district Chandrapur, which is in the north eastern portion of Maharashtra. TadobaAndhari Tiger Reserve is famous by the name of “The Jewel of Vidharba”. This reserve forest is having the treasure trove for the numbers of species of fauna and flora. One is Chimur which is at 32 kms distance and the other is Chandrapur which is at a distance of 45 kms from Tadoba National Park. From Nagpur, tourists have to choose Hyderabad National Highway upto Jab and after that tourists have to proceed on state highway via Warora and Bhandak. Apart from this convenient route, tourists can also choose Umred-Nagbhir-Shindewahi and Mul to reach Chandrapur from Nagpur. The route through Warora and Bhandak is about 160 kms and the second option to reach Chandrapur is bit longer about 200 kms. Kolra gate is at a distance of 100 kms from Nagpur and another gate Moharli is at a distance of 150 kms from Nagpur. Kolra Gate is very close to the TadobaAndhari Tiger Reserve.

Chandrapur Railway Station is located at a distance of 45 kms from the Tadoba National Park. Most of the important trains halt at Chandrapur Station. Regular trains which crosses Chandrapur are Delhi- Chennai main line, weekly express Rameswaram-Varanasi, Gorakhpur Yesvantpur Express and many other trains which halts at Chandrapur Station.

Most important railway station for Tourists to reach Tadoba National Park is Nagpur Railway Station. It is nicely connected to the important cities and towns of the rest of the country. Tourists after reaching Nagpur, can take a cab, bus or train again to reach Tadoba National Park.
